Our solution for the gender gap is to introduce innovative boot camps for women
We will be working with women entrepreneurs who are already in business and/or planning to launch a business focusing on the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. We will work with women who have a business in Fintech, Arttech, and Edutech themes. Our Accelerate women in STEAM which will have a three-day residential boot camp will train women in the STEAM field to increase their understanding of the Fin-Tech, Edu-Tech, and Art-Tech and boost and strengthen their skills to be successful within the industry and even to tap cross border business via professional network. At the end of the Boot camp, the participants will be able to pitch their business or STEAM business models to the donors, angel investors, and those seeking financial support, and we will introduce them to grant, loan providers, and investors. For Example, Palladium Catalyst SME finance support via DFCC bank. The main objective of this Boot camp is to accelerate women entrepreneurs in STEAM. Girls and women play a pivotal role in the economy of the country.
EMPLOYMENT READINESS BOOT CAMPS for youth
An intensive boot camp for youth preparing to enter the workforce to help them build their smart skills and workplace knowledge.
Advocacy and leadership training will be at the community level and after-school level targeting youth. They will be introduced to the STEAM pool network and careers at the early stage and trained to lead in the STEAM field.
STEAM Network Hub
Our STEAM network is a diverse network that is inclusive of many STEAM experts.
STEAM CLUBS
We will run a STEAM club to introduce our students to STEAM role models and inspire them to consider STEAM careers.
